World of Warcraft (dále jen WoW) je MMORPG hra, což v překladu znamená masivně hraná online hra pro více hráčů, kde každý má nějakou roli. World of Warcraft je vlastně hra ve které se pohybujete ve Vámi tolik známém světe Warcraftu, ale z úplně jiného pohledu. Jste uvnitř dění a neovládáte velkou armádu jako tomu bylo ve Warcraftu III, ale pouze svoji vlastní postavu, kterou pak vylepšujete a přizpůsobujete k obrazu svému...
Oficiální servery
Oficiální servery jsou nejkvalitnější servery podporovány výrobcem tj. společností Blizzard Entertainment. Výhodou tohoto typu serveru je jednoznačně spolehlivost, nízké latence, okamžitá pomoc gamemasterů (GM), mnoho lidí, časté aktualizace, žádné pády... Bohužel jedinou a pro mnoho lidí velkou nevýhodou je nutnost platit měsíční poplatky. Výše měsíčních poplatků je v rozmezí od zhruba 330,- Kč do zhruba 450,- Kč.
Způsob platby
Existují dva způsoby platby oficiálních serverů...- Koupíte si tzv. Předplacenou 60ti denní kartu, která Vás vyjde na zhruba 800,- Kč + poštovné. To znamená nějakých 450,- Kč/měsíc.
- Budete platit pomocí Vaší kreditní karty
pak vás platba vyjde na 330,- Kč/měsíc při předplacení na 6 měsíců
dopředu cena je mírně vyšší při předplacení na 3 měsíce nebo na 1 měsíc
dopředu.
Jak hrát na "offiku"?
- Zakupte si Originální hru (600-800,- Kč) a Datadisk a nainstalujte je
- Jděte na stránky www.wow-europe.com
- Vpravo nahoře vyhledejte Account Creation
- Nyní následuje několik kroků registrace, hned při prvním musíte opsat Autentizační klíč, který máte na manuálu ke hře (taková knížečka)
- Po úspešném dokončení registrace jděte do Account Management a zvolte možnost Upgrade Account a vepište autentizační klíč, který je přiložen u datadisku, tím ho aktivujete
- Po dokončení zpusťte hru a vepište své údaje
- Všechny potřebné patche se Vám stáhnou automaticky
- Hurá do Hry!
Free servery
Free servery jak už z názvu vyplývá jsou zadarmo. Což je ale jejich jediná výhoda. Za to obsahují mnoho chyb, nejsou stabilní, komplexní, lagují, GM jsou neochotní a neznalí a servery většinou utáhnou tak maximálně 100 lidí. Přesto existuje několik dobrých serverů jejich seznam naleznete zde.
Jak hrát na Free?
- Nainstalujte si hru -> NESPOUŠTĚT ani neinstalovat žádné PATCHE!!
- Po zvolení serveru si na webu serveru najděte informace o verzi clienta a na serveru se zaregistrujte
- Stáhněte a nainstalujte si příslušné patche
- Otevřete soubor Realmlist.wtf (pravým tlačítkem -> otevřít -> vybrat vhodný program ze seznamu -> poznámkový blok) a nahraďte původní obsah, obsahem zjištěním z webu vašeho serveru
- Spusťte hru, zalogujte se, vytvořte postavu a začněte hrát!
